We make flooring out of what others throw away

Mediza SA de CV started in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León, with a simple idea: a tire that no longer rolls is still good for something.

Mission

At MEDIZA SA de CV we are committed to creating places that provide safety across different areas, covering each of their specific needs for the benefit of our customers. We carry the social responsibility of reducing environmental pollution, using worn tires as the main raw material of our products, giving them a proper use so they keep serving society as useful, high-quality goods.

Vision

We will be the company most focused on what benefits the planet, raising the rate of tire recycling from 2% to 98%, reaching every place to make people aware of how important it is to recycle tires properly. We will build a solid team of specialists in every area, delivering quality products, always with our social and environmental responsibility first.

Circular economy

From tire to floor, in four steps

The material does not change hands, it starts over: this is the full route a tire takes inside the plant.

  1. 01

Tire at the end of its life

We collect used tires that would otherwise be burned or left in an open-air dump.

  2. 02

    Shredding

Steel and textile are separated, and the rubber is ground down into granule.

  3. 03

    Pressing

The granule is mixed with pigment and binder, then pressed to the thickness and density the project calls for.

  4. 04

    Installed floor

It ships as modular tile or continuous roll, ready to install and to last for years outdoors.

2 % 98 %

Today Mexico recycles only a small fraction of the tires it throws away. Raising that figure is the reason Mediza exists, and every square meter installed moves it a little.
